One of Barbour’s classic staples, the Bedale is constructed with waxed Sylkoil cotton, signature golden zippers, a corduroy collar, and tartan lining – all marks of its incredible quality. Its collar is studded, allowing for attachment of the optional hood, and extra zippers give the option of attaching an extra lining. The Bedale has been imitated by many, and for good reason. This is an heirloom jacket, meant to last a lifetime and passed down through generations.

I went through three Bedales before realizing I needed to go down two sizes for a correct fit (normally a size 36, down to a 32). Even then, I can still layer underneath the jacket. The smaller sizes are nearly impossible to find, but I found my 32 at Krizia Martin.
